TECHART Powerkit for Porsche Cayenne S Diesel

Leonberg, May 2013 - TECHART Automobildesign provides power enhancement for the Porsche Cayenne S Diesel. The TECHART powerkit TA 058/SD1 is based on the intelligent engine management system TECHTRONIC and results in 420 hp and 950 Nm of torque by the press of a button.

Performance

In order to live up on its own claim to offer integrated individualization programs for Porsche models, TECHART completes its recently introduced aerodynamics package for the Porsche Cayenne S Diesel by the powerkit TA 058/SD1. By pressing the Sport button at center console the V8 4.2 litre diesel engine generates an increased power output of 28 kW (38 hp) to a total of 309 kW (420 hp) at 3,800 1/min, as well as a torque increase of 100 Nm to a total of 950 Nm at 2,600 1/min. This results in a faster acceleration of 5.2 sec from 0 to 100 km/h (basic model 5.7 sec) and in higher top speed of 256 km/h (basic model 252 km/h).

TECHART installs its additional control unit TECHTRONIC. Thus this intelligent TECHART engine management system TECHTRONIC does not interfere with the standard control software and leads to a noticeable improvement in acceleration and driving dynamics, without changing the service and diagnostic capabilities. All electronic engine protective functions are preserved. A TECHART engine styling package is in preparation. The TECHART sport exhaust system with a European Community type approval certificate and twin TECHART sport tailpipes with embossed logotype lend the Porsche Cayenne S Diesel models visual and acoustic expression.

Design

The TECHART aerodynamics package for Porsche Cayenne models bestows the TECHART power kit an optical phrasing. Front spoiler I and side skirts seamlessly carry the TECHART DNA to the rear of the vehicle. TECHART roof spoiler, as well as TECHART rear spoiler, integrated diffuser and two reflectors complete the TECHART aerodynamics kit. Trim parts and visual packages in paint or carbon fibre provide a range of additional customisation options. The TECHART aerodynamic package is completed by individual TECHART wheels for Porsche Cayenne models. Available are TECHART Formula light alloy wheels in 20- to 23-inch, TECHART Formula II light alloy wheels in 22- and 23-inch, as well as weight reduced TECHART Formula III forged wheels in 21- and 22-inch. New: Formula II GTR and Formula III forged wheels in ceramic burnished finish.

Interior

The accents on the car's exterior are directly incorporated. First-rate leather, stitching in custom colours and trim parts made from real wood or carbon are just some of the possible highlights available for an interior customisation that can go right to the smallest details. Typical TECHART: The multifunctional sport steering wheel with TECHART shift paddles. In-house manufacturing with careful and precise handiwork ensures complete satisfaction. The TECHART W2 entertainment package, which features two screens integrated into the front headrests, the foldaway individual seats in the back, as well as the central console unit, equipped with a 12-volt plug, a spacious bar and storage compartment, can be ordered on request.
