ITS Detroit 2014 - Check It Out !!!

ITS Detroit 2014 - Wednesday !!!

Wednesday is the perfect day to explore the exhibit floor, enjoy the Technology Showcase demonstrations, and attend some of the general sessions. Our Youth Connections Showcase will be holding builds and demonstrations daily on the show floor, and Wednesday is a great day to stop by and watch the young talent developing in Michigan.
Taking place in the Cobo Atrium, the first Town Hall session begins Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. Sponsored by Urban Insights and moderated by the Information Technology Industry Council’s President and CEO Dean Garfield, this Town Hall will present the case that we are rapidly approaching prime time for big data in transportation.
Wednesday will also host the ITS World Congress second annual Investor Matching Event and Reception. In conjunction with the Entrepreneurial Village on the show floor, the Investor Matching Event is part of the Transportation for Tomorrow: Inventors and Investors program. Be sure to stop by the Village for the opportunity to network with emerging companies and startups that are fueling smarter cities and fundamentally changing the way we move.
The Congress’ largest networking event of the week will be held Wednesday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. A longstanding tradition from prior World Congresses, the Detroit Gala will showcase the recently renovated Cobo Center and its dramatic view of the Detroit River, the Windsor skyline, and our Canadian neighbors. The Gala will incorporate as its central theme the internationally recognized and much loved music and entertainment of Detroit.

Be sure to explore both the interactive and final program for a full list of Sunday’s activities or see what is happening the other days of the World Congress.
