Ferrari 250 GTO sculpture unveiled by Chris Evans

Ferrari 250 GTO sculpture unveiled by Chris Evans

Famous Ferrari collector, and British television and radio presenter, Chris Evans, was invited to Monaco as Dante's guest to unveil the latest sculpture in the award-winning Swiss artist's series depicting iconic sports cars: the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO. As owner of an original 250 GTO, chassis number 4675 SA, Chris Evans was the ideal person to lift the veil, and with the help of the renowned Ferrari historian Marcel Massini, the new 1:8 scale interpretation of what many consider to be Enzo Ferrari's greatest creation was revealed to the world. Among the other attendees were the Stieger family, who kindly made their Ferrari 250 GTO, chassis number 3589 GT, available to the artist, and with only thirty-nine original 250 GTOs ever produced, it is a fitting addition to the series.

The prestigious event in Monaco was attended by a host of celebrities, as well as H.S.H., Prince Albert II, who has been a regular visitor at Dante's world premieres. The new 250 GTO sculpture joins the artist's critically acclaimed depictions of the Aston Martin DB5, the gadget-laden car driven by Sean Connery in the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger, and the vehicle that finally established Mercedes-Benz in America, the 300 SL Gullwing. Each sculpture in the series has been created to capture the spirit of the car and the ethos of the period, when art and design were fused in an expression of pure automobile enjoyment. The series of limited edition works of art represent an ideal investment opportunity to classic car enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.
