Inexpensive, small pickup trucks used to be everywhere in North America. Datsuns, Toyotas, the Subaru Brat or even the 80’s Volkswagen Caddy based on the Golf, have all pretty much all disappeared. With no garage or high speed shop equipment he takes off the doors and trunk, marks the cut lines very carefully, ensuring all wiring is clear of the cut lines, then takes the saw to the car. Followed by put all the aluminum together then taking it apart, then put it back together. You will see it is time consuming but absolutely critical to get everything straight, true and square. All your body panels hang on this so it has to be positioned correctly for the body lines and seams to match perfectly.
