Dotz is the “most promising wheel brand” in China
Alloy rim trendsetter gets award at AAITF
21st century China is clearly an automotive country and this is no longer simply about getting from A to B. This was also reflected at the 8th AAITF, Asia’s largest aftermarket trade fair occupies twice as much space as the famous German Essen Motor Show. For Dotz and its partner brand AEZ it was the first show in Guangzhou, a metropolis that has a larger population than Berlin. It couldn’t have been any better: Dotz brand manager and honorary guest Gerry Samer didn’t only open the trade fair, but he and his company also received a very special prize as the “Most Promising Wheel Brand“.
The prize was presented to AEZ sales manager Yuang Guo “Yoyo“ by the trade fair’s director, who also publishes the well-known IMP tuning magazine and the local offshoot of the renowned Option magazine. The visitors, however, wanted to get “documents” of a totally different kind. A comparatively large part of the ca. 300,000 visitors wanted to get an autograph of Dotz Girl Anna, who at Dotz’s booth was framed by local beauties. And the VW Scirocco with its new Dotz Fast Seven high-performance wheels also outshone its peers and found many an admirer. Products “made in Germany“ and the European style of tuning seem to go down very well in the Middle Kingdom.
