Welcome to this edition of the Aston Martin Newsletter.

Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing have announced the development of AM-RB-001, poised to become the ultimate hypercar. The collaboration between Adrian Newey and Marek Reichmann is an opportunity to combine the latest aerodynamics with unmistakable Aston Martin design. The Red Bull team were sporting the Aston Martin wings for the first time at Melbourne, which also made it the perfect opportunity to handover one of the 100 GT12’s to its new owner.

THE ASTON MARTIN SALE BY BONHAMS

This year’s Bonhams auction was once again held at Aston Martin Newport Pagnell. Up for sale was the DB3S raced by the likes of Sirs Stirling Moss and David Brown. As expected, loyal bidders pushed multiple cars far beyond their estimates.

AMR GIVEN UNIQUE WINGS FOR WEC

For this year’s World Endurance Championship, the new Vantage GTE will be adorned with bespoke flag themed wings for each race. Commissioned by ‘Q by Aston Martin’ and created in Birmingham’s famous jewellery quarter, each piece celebrates a specific round in the championship.

ASTON MARTIN RAISES £1,100 FOR CHIVA

Aston Martin’s Design Team created a themed chair for Chiva’s ‘Sitting Pretty’ auction, featuring artists and designers from around the world. The money raised ensures children and adolescents living with HIV receive the care they need to live long and healthy lives.

RECRUITMENT AT DBX SITE IN ST ATHENS

Over 3000 people queued at Aston Martin’s recruitment drive for the new St Athans plant. This new investment in the Welsh automotive industry will bring up to 750 direct jobs to the area to produce DBX.
