How To Be A Millionaire By 30

How To Be A Millionaire By 30

millionaire

Getting rich and becoming a millionaire is a taboo topic. Saying it can be done by the age of 30 seems like a fantasy. It shouldn’t be taboo and it is possible.

At the age of 21, I got out of college, broke and in debt, and by the time I was 30, I was a millionaire. Here are the ten steps that will guarantee that you will become a millionaire by 30.

  1. Follow the Money. In today’s economic environment you cannot save your way to millionaire status. The first step is to focus on increasing your income in increments and repeating that. My income was $3000 a month and nine years later it was $20,000 a month. Start following the money and it will force you to control revenue and see opportunities.
  2. Don’t Show Off – Show Up.  I didn’t buy my first luxury watch or car until my businesses and investments were producing multiple secure flows of income.  I was still driving a Toyota Camry when I had become a millionaire.  Be known for your work ethic not the trinkets that you buy.
  3. Save to Invest, Don’t Save To Save. The only reason to save money is to invest it.  Put your saved money into secured, sacred (untouchable) accounts. Never use these accounts for anything – not even an emergency.  This will force you to continue to follow step one (increase income).  Still to this day, at least twice a year I am broke because I always invest my surpluses into ventures I cannot access.
  4. Avoid Debt That Doesn’t Pay You. Make it a rule that you never use debt that won’t make you money.  I borrowed money for a car only because I knew I could increase my income. Rich people use debt to leverage investments and grow cash flows.  Poor people use debt to buy things that make rich people richer.
  5. Treat Money Like a Jealous Lover.   Millions wish for financial freedom, and only those that make it a priority have millions.   To get rich and stay rich you will have to make it a priority.  Money is like a jealous lover.  Ignore it and it will ignore you or worse, it will leave you for someone who makes it a priority.
  6.  Money Doesn’t Sleep.  Money doesn’t know about clocks, schedules or holidays and you shouldn’t either.  Money loves people that have great work ethic.  When I was 26 years old I was in retail and the store I worked in closed at 7pm; most times you could find me there at 11pm making an extra sale.  Never try to be the smartest or luckiest person; just make sure you outwork everyone.
  7. Poor Makes No Sense. I have been poor and it sucks. I have had just enough and that sucks almost as bad.  Eliminate any and all ideas that being poor is somehow ok. Bill Gates said to a group of college grads, “its not your fault if you were born poor, it is your fault if you stay poor.”
  8.  Get a Millionaire Mentor.  Most of us were brought up middle class or poor and then hold ourselves to the limits and ideas of that group.   I have been studying millionaires in order to duplicate what they did.  Get your own personal millionaire mentor and study them.  Most rich people are extremely generous with their knowledge and their resources.
  9. Get Your Money to Do the Heavy Lifting. Investing is the Holy Grail in becoming a millionaire and you should make more money off your investments than your work.  If you don’t have surplus money you won’t make investments. The second company I started required a $50,000 investment. That company has paid me back that $50,000 every month for the last ten years.  My third investment was in real estate where I started with $350,000, a large part of my net worth at the time.  I still own that property today and it continues to provide me with income. Investing is the only reason to do the other steps and your money must work for you and do your heavy lifting.
  10. 10X Millionaire.  Shoot for $10 million not $1 million. The single biggest financial mistake I’ve made was not thinking big enough. I encourage you to go for more than a million. There is no shortage of money on this planet, only a shortage of people thinking big enough.
Apply these 10 steps and they will make you rich. Steer clear of people that suggest your financial dreams are born of greed. Avoid get-rich quick schemes, be ethical, never give up and once you make it, be willing to help others get there too.
Let me know when you get there.
Be great. Nothing else pays.

Kia Motors makes pledge to Make-A-Wish® with 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™

  • Automaker donates US$100,000 to non-profit organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions
  • Five wish children will serve as Kia Mascot Friends at the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™

(SEOUL) May 29, 2014 – As an official sponsor of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™, Kia Motors has donated US$100,000 to its selected charity, Make-A-Wish® International. In addition to the donation, Kia Motors has also invited five wish children and their companions to participate in the Kia Mascot Friends program wherein they will accompany the official World Cup mascot – Fuleco the Armadillo – onto the pitch at half time during matches of the world’s most prominent international football competition.

The five wish children, who were selected from global Make-A-Wish International’s affiliates based on their love of football, will travel to Brazil to attend at the 2014 FIFA World Cup™. Wish children Aidan (age 14, Australia), Fausto (age 11, Mexico), Nathan (age 10, Brazil), Yuri (age 9, Brazil), and Bruno (age 11, Brazil) will make appearances beginning with a group stage match on June 23rd through the semi-final match on July 8th.

In line with Kia Motor’s World Cup marketing concept, ‘Kia Makes Surprises’, Kia and Make-A-Wish representatives paid a surprise visit to Aidan’s local football team’s training session in Sydney, Australia. Aidan, 14, is battling cystic fibrosis. Aidan’s most cherished wish is to attend the World Cup, and thanks to Make-A-Wish and Kia Motors, Aidan was given the surprise of a lifetime when informed that his wish to go to the World Cup would soon become a reality. Aidan will travel to Brazil to see the group stage match between Australia and Spain. (Click on the following link to view Aidan’s special surprise moment:http://youtu.be/XL19Ku6QSKY).

Following Aidan’s surprise moment, his mother Karina, said, "What can I say - we're all walking around like we're in a dream at the moment.  We've been handed a gift and we're going along with this incredible journey.  We will be forever grateful for Make-A-Wish and Kia and are enjoying seeing our boy so happy."

“We are so grateful to have been chosen by Kia Motors as their charity of choice for the 2014 FIFA World CupTM . Their continued support of our wish children through the Kia Mascot Friends Program helps make wishes a reality for our wish children around the globe who have chosen their most cherished wish based on their passion for football,” said Jon Stettner, president and chief executive officer of Make-A-Wish International. “When children with life-threatening medical conditions have their one true wish fulfilled, it fuels their confidence and determination as they battle their life-threatening medical conditions. In fact, many wish kids credit the wish experience with improving their health and strength. Kia Motors support will give these five wish children and their families a life-changing experience in Brazil – one that will last a lifetime.”

Soon-Nam Lee, Vice President of Kia Motors’ Overseas Marketing Group, said, “We are honored to expand our ongoing relationship with Make-A-Wish International following the support we provided to wish kids during the UEFA EURO 2012 football championship; and we can’t think of a more fitting charity to partner with for this opportunity.”

“We are thrilled to provide the opportunity for wish children to serve as official Kia Mascot Friends during the upcoming World Cup and are excited to embrace this amazing experience right alongside with them,” Mr. Lee concluded.

Make-A-Wish International grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Based in Phoenix, Make-A-Wish is one of the world's leading children's charities, serving children in nearly 50 countries on five continents. With the help of generous donors and more than 32,000 volunteers worldwide, Make-A-Wish has granted more than 334,000 wishes since its inception in 1980. GM engineer said he forgot change to switch in recalled cars: NYT

GM engineer said he forgot change to switch in recalled cars: NYT

Reuters

(Reuters) - A suspended General Motors Co engineer who worked on the defective ignition switch at the heart of a massive recall told congressional investigators that he had forgotten ordering a change to the switch, when he testified in a deposition last year, the New York Times reported.
GM engineer Ray DeGiorgio did not say anything to the congressional investigators to suggest that Chief Executive Mary Barra knew about the defective switch before she took the top job at the company this year, the Times said, quoting people familiar with the session.
DeGiorgio, who was suspended by GM on April 10, designed the switch for the 2003 Saturn Ion and other models, including the Chevrolet Cobalt, which have been recalled. GM has linked 13 deaths to accidents related to the switch.
The defective switch was redesigned in 2006 without a change to the part number, which later confused investigators looking into crashes of the now-recalled cars. Congressional investigators produced an internal GM document showing DeGiorgio had signed off on the change in April 2006.
In a deposition last year for a lawsuit related to a fatal 2010 crash in Georgia, DeGiorgio denied that he knew of the change. The New York Times reported that he told congressional investigators recently that at the time of the deposition, he had forgotten about the change, because it was part of a package of changes.
General Motors was not available for comment outside regular business hours and did not respond to a request to make DeGiorgio available.

Experience the Scirocco R on the race track

Share Ideas for the Accessible Transportation Technologies Research Initiative

What if you could make traveling easier for people with disabilities by inventing a new app or technology-based device? Join this national online dialogue hosted by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Accessible Transportation Technologies Research Initiative (ATTRI) and share your ideas about transportation and technology. You can also share travel glitches that could be solved by a new app or device.

The purpose of the online dialogue is to gather input on mobility and transportation technology preferences and needs from transportation riders who have disabilities. By participating in this dialogue, you will assist leaders in the travel/technology field by identifying devices that could assist all transit riders— especially people with mobility, hearing, vision, or intellectual disabilities— to plan, navigate, and use transportation options in their communities, including safely walking around as well as getting from one station to another.

Participating is easy! Just take a moment to register, and then submit an idea, comment on someone else’s idea, or vote on an idea! You’ll see ideas posted by colleagues from across the country and be able to share your thoughts on technologies to help people better access transit. Maybe you will be the one to suggest the next big thing?

The discussion will be open May 15 - 30, 2014; visit the online dialogue site soon to join the conversation.

Please contact projectaction@easterseals.com or call 800-659-6428 with questions about the online dialogue.

Tierra Ferrari llega a España

NACE “FERRARI LAND”

 UN EXCLUSIVO CONCEPTO DE ENTRETENIMIENTO

EN EL RESORT PORTAVENTURA

PortAventura, 13 de marzo de 2014. – PortAventura Entertainment S.A.U.
