Vehicles fitted with the TECHART Aerokit I demonstrate a passion for perfection, even at first glance. The result of development work and wind tunnel tests: a sporty and elegant appearance typical of TECHART as well as optimal driving stability thanks to reduced buoyant forces and balanced aerodynamics on the front and back axels.


The new front spoiler I emphasises the dynamics of the new 911, reduces buoyant forces on the front axle and ensures optimal air flow for the effective cooling of the brakes. The air inlets on the front of the vehicle also come with new decorative features. Sill panels emphasise the vehicle’s strong side lines.



A roof spoiler and three different types of rear wing enable precise aerodynamic adjustments to the back axel. The elegant rear wing I, the sporty rear wing III with its fixed wing profile and the variable rear wing IV with integrated back pressure air channels and additional adjustable gurney flap.




The newly designed decorative trims for the exterior mirror – varnished, in carbon fibre or a new chrome finish – as well as headlight trims, TECHART light-metal wheels, striking sports exhaust in a typical double-oval design and individually adapted interior fittings are just some of the options which form part of the comprehensive TECHART individualisation programme for the new 911 models.

Lorinser makes the C-Class "hot" with 305 HP

Digital revolution renders classic engine tuning more effective than ever.

Hot camshafts? In the age of chip tuning, that sounds like a relic of the Eighties. Incorrectly, as there is not much extra power to be gained electronically from a naturally aspirated engine. Mechanical measures continue to be the first choice there, and more effective than ever before in combination with an adjustment of the engine management. One particularly successful example is the C 350 Limousine from Sportservice Lorinser, an almost irresistible temptation for everyone with petrol in their blood: special camshafts and a modified engine control unit kindle here far more fire than the series version of the extremely successful 3.5-litre V6. 305 HP (224 kW) instead of 272 HP (200 kW) are an end result that can be more than seen in a non-charged engine, especially since the fast Mercedes accelerates powerfully with 380 instead of 350 Nm, even at very low RPM. As a result of the tuning measure, the interval between opening the exhaust valve and closing the intake valve becomes bigger. The result is a "hot" overlap, which is where the camshaft modification gets its name from. On the other hand, the Lorinser lowering kit is responsible for the "hot" handling in the bend. An additional bonus in the driving-fun account.


Digital or analogue? Music fans may argue about this point, but not car enthusiasts. Of course, the Lorinser sports exhaust system plays music purely mechanically, and develops such a crescendo when the accelerator pedal is pushed enthusiastically that even eardrums get goosebumps. But the optical charms of the C-Class also easily arouse the desire to own one. Is it the well-designed exhaust tailpipes integrated into the Lorinser rear apron that the sporty roof and rear spoiler soar above? The muscular side sills or the striking front apron? An abundance of details that add up to a fascinating automobile. The model RS 8 matt black 19-inch light-alloy wheels draw attention to themselves as they provide exciting contrasts in combination with the white bodywork colour. An additional stylish alternative is the silvercoloured light-alloy wheel RS 9 from the Lorinser assortment. An offer that repeatedly proves in its totality that the Winnenden customiser won't be losing steam any time soon when it comes down to stirring up passions for automobiles.

Lamborghini donates the new "Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia" to the Italian State Police Sant’Agata Bolognese.

October 24, 2008 – a private ceremony was held today at the Viminale Palace where Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. donated a police version of the company’s newest super sports car, Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia, to the head of the Italian State Police, Prefect Antonio Manganelli.


The new Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia, which replaces the previous Gallardo in use by the Italian police force since 2004 has a 560 horsepower engine that can reach speeds of up to 203 mph. The car will begin service with the Lazio Highway Police Department in order to continue accident and crime prevention to sustain security on the Italian roads.

Proof of outstanding reliability
Its predecessor is proof of Lamborghini’s outstanding product quality. Since 2004, Rome’s police force has had the first-generation Gallardo in regular police service. The sports car has clocked nearly 87,000 miles of patrol duty on the motorways of central and southern Italy, as well as on emergency medical transport detail.

A second Gallardo, painted in blue and white police colors, has been in service around Bologna, Italy since 2005. Its odometer already shows more than 62,000 miles. Aside from regular servicing, neither of the super sports cars has required major repairs.



In addition to the clearly effective deterrent offered by the presence and visibility of a Lamborghini on the highway, the technological equipment on board these vehicles makes them highly effective in the control of hazardous behaviour on the roads (high speeds, driving in the emergency lane, dangerous over-taking); the automatic recognition of number plate tracking and real-time transmission of images to the control rooms.


High-tech video system with real-time retrieval
The cabin of the super sports car is fitted with the latest advancements in police technology to immediately document the evidence of any transgression. The video system is positioned in the center of the cabin with a camera fitted next to the rear view mirror and a computer and recording equipment behind the seats. As soon as police officers discover a suspicious driver, they activate the "Proof Video Data System." With the help of GPS data, the device can calculate the location, direction of movement and speed of the Lamborghini. This combined with the distance and time before intercept, accurately determines the speed of the vehicle being pursued.

Using radio data transmission, the video system in the Gallardo Polizia transfers its images in real time to the relevant police station. There, the videos are stored and used for automatic number plate retrieval. This information can be used for immediate identification of stolen vehicles.

Audi en el Festival de Morelia


Audi transporta a celebridades del cine mexicano

· Audi A6 y Audi A4, los autos más vistos en la ciudad de Morelia durante el festival
· Los galardonados Gael García, Ana Claudia Talancón, Diego Luna y Fernando Eimbcke presentes en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia

Audi una vez más es el auto oficial del festival de cine más importante de Latinoamérica.

El auto insignia de la marca de los cuatro aros, el Audi A6 y el sedán premiado como el auto más bello del mundo, Audi A4; brillaron entre cámaras, directores y luminarias del cine mexicano. El prestigio de la marca alemana y el reconocimiento internacional del Festival, realzaron durante nueve días el encanto de la colonial ciudad de Morelia.

En su sexta edición, el Festival de Cine de Morelia culminó este fin de semana con la presencia de galardonados actores que desfilaron por la alfombra roja, entre ellos, Gael García, Diego Luna y Ana Claudia Talancón. Directores de reconocimiento internacional como Alfonso Cuarón (A walk in the Clouds - Mex: Un paseo por las nubes) y el recientemente premiado en el Festival de Cine de Berlín Fernando Eimbcke (Lake Tahoe) se dieron espacio para apoyar el festival y recibir en el caso de Eimbcke el “Premio Tradicional” del Festival.

En el marco del Festival se presentó “El Che” de Steven Soderbergh que fue el filme inaugural del Festival. El director y Julia Ormond (Legends of the Fall Mex: Leyendas de pasión) también desfilaron por la alfombra roja.

El Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia tiene como mayor objetivo apoyar a los jóvenes realizadores mexicanos además de centrar sus esfuerzos en apoyar a cortometrajes y documentales. Este año el Festival se realizó del 4 al 12 de octubre de 2008.


Las actrices Cecilia Suárez (Capadocia), Martha Higareda (Niñas mal), Paola Núñez (Mientras haya vida) y el director mexicano Billy Rovzar (Matando Cabos) también desfilaron por la alfombra roja del Festival

Porsche Parade México 2008, el más grande de America Latina


México D.F., 8 de Octubre de 2008.- Porsche de México anuncia orgullosamente, el gran éxito de la 3ª edición del Porsche Parade México 2008. Sobrepasando el objetivo del evento, 634 participantes fueron testigos de la reunión de autos Porsche más grande en la historia de America Latina.


La crónica del día inició desde las 7:30 hrs de este domingo 5 de octubre, cuando los más puntuales asistentes comenzaron a formar las seis caravanas que más tarde cruzarían el Distrito Federal. Iniciando por los vehículos más clásicos y simbólicos de la marca, como los 356, 914, 944, 930, hasta los más recientes Cayenne, Boxster y Cayman, la línea del tiempo se fue formando para crear una imagen llena de historia y deportividad que sirvió de marco para realizar la presentación oficial al público y a la prensa de la nueva generación de la serie 911 Carrera en México.


Previo al desfile se realizó la entrega de reconocimientos a los miembros fundadores y ex presidentes del Porsche Club México, organización que cumplió en 2008 su 20 Aniversario y que fue de gran ayuda en este día tan especial en que la convocatoria fue rebasada una vez más, al confirmar 253 autos Porsche. Una vez culminado el recorrido a través del corazón del Hipódromo de las Américas y de las avenidas más importantes de la Ciudad de México, la historia se convirtió en presente y todo aquello que un cliente de Porsche sueña en algún momento se volvió realidad, más de 60,000 caballos de fuerza conquistaron el Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez e hicieron del Porsche Parade México 2008 una verdadera historia de éxito.


Fernando Flores Beristain, Director de Porsche de México agradeció la respuesta de los entusiastas de la Marca, que fueron participes de este magno suceso y de todo aquel que directa o indirectamente formó parte de uno de los eventos más importantes de Porsche en México en los últimos años. En el 2009, la meta será crear un nuevo Porsche Parade sin precedentes, que mantenga la magnitud alcanzada en esta 3ª edición y que siga manteniendo unida a la gran Familia Porsche en México.
